La dernière série d’Erwin Olaf, Hope, est la suite de la série Rain. A travers ces deux séries, nous pouvons observer des personnages mis en scène dans des décors des années 60 (hôpital, salle de gym, école, intérieur d’appartement). Les couleurs un peu passée des photographies rappellent les atmosphères des films Technicolor des années 1960, comme Imitation of life de Douglas Sirk.

Olaf directs a music video for the Dutch band Volumia.
He ends the year with a party Fucque les Balles in Paradiso, organised in conjunction with Speedfreax. He makes the 3-minute film Clowns for this occasion.
